CMG has released the Nord Trio, a range of motor-mounted inverters that offers the full functionality of high-end variable speed drive parametisation, IP66 protection and local assembly.
The Nord Trio is designed for manufacturing processes, pump-sets, wine pumps, conveyors and machine builders.
Darren Besanko, CMG’s national product manager – Drives, said the Nord Trio is a user-friendly product with keypad, potentiometer box, Windows software and various fieldbus cards.
“Among the key advantages of the Trio is that it doesn’t require additional cooling, provides thermistor input as standard, has mechanical brake control and PID control,” he said.
“Its compact design is preferred by industry as is the ability to install in-situ, avoiding the need for cabling.”
The Nord Trio’s IP66 rating is a step above the products which need weather protection.
Local assembly, backed by CMG’s national distribution and service network, means replacement parts and product can be sourced quickly, reducing downtime and offering cost advantages.
The Nord Trio range includes SLA/HLA models from 1.1 to 3.0 kW and SGA(T)/HGA(T) models from 0.55 to 4.0 kW.
The company will shortly release SLA/HLA models from 0.55 to 4.0 kW.
CMG, which is a manufacturer of electric motors in Australia, holds the sole agency for Nord products in Australia and New Zealand.
