The ABG 2820 paving equipment is compact and incorporates various features used in the larger Volvo models, including the operating comfort offered by the EPM control panel. The high set operators seat and panel, which rotates, provides a clear view of the flow of the paving material.
When paving footpaths, cycle tracks, parking lots, recreation and sports grounds, landscape projects or a variety of roads, the tracked paver provides an efficient solution.
With an environmentally friendly engine and low fuel consumption the ABG 2820 has a large fuel tank that assists non-stop operation for up 12 hours, depending on the situation. The travel drive is electronically controlled and assures precise straightforward movement and cornering with uniform propulsion as well as rubber track pads that give tractive power.
The tracked paving equipment has a high speed of 6 km/h high and is easy to manoeuvre, and with the optional hopper wings and swivelling truck buffer, it allows paving right up to lateral obstacles.
Low maintenance requirements and operating costs are achieved by providing a screed tamper and vibrator, lubricated crawler tracks with an automated tensioning system along with maintenance free bearings for the conveyor.
