CGU Safety and Risk Services provide OHS and risk management training and are members of registered training organisation Insurance Australia Group (RTO number 90822). CGU Safety and Risk Services’ courses are approved by each state’s statutory authority for workplace safety and OHS training.
CGU Safety and Risk Services offer the following OHS and risk management training courses:
OHS training for safety representatives and committee members: Participants can learn about relevant legislation and key principles, which enable Health and Safety Representatives to perform their role.
Certificate III in occupational health and safety: Nationally recognised training leading to formal qualification, and is suitable for people who assist with implementing OHS policies, procedures and programmes in the workplace.
OHS Representative Refresher: Reflecting on experiences as on OHS representative, participants review legislation and learn how to become more effective in their role. OHS Representative should complete this refresher training annually.
OHS for supervisors and managers: Nationally recognised training, enabling supervisors and managers to understand relevant provisions of OHS legislation, and use this knowledge to implement and monitor their OHS policies, procedures and programmes.
