Semi finished forging - Wind turbine

CGC Kymon  operates two modern open die facilities in Australia for the local and international markets.

CGC Kymon’s customers around the world depend on its accredited products and services. CGC Kymon delivers custom open die forged components from 1kgs to 6,000kgs.

CGC Kymon customises products for diverse markets, from metal service centres and job shops, to end-use markets like construction, mining and power generation.

When Siemens, the International German Company, required high integrity steel forgings for their wind generator business, Winergy, they approached CGC Kymon to assist in meeting their growing global demand for gear box forgings.

CGC Kymon met the challenge of supplying high quality, competitively priced semi finished forgings to Siemens’ German manufacturing plants on schedule. Today Siemens continues to be a major element of CGC Kymon’s global business development strategy.

CGC Kymon supports Australian Industry and recycling of resources by using 100% Australian made Steel in its exports. This steel uses greater than 95% of recycled materials in its production.
