CGB Precision Products are pleased to announce the release in Australia and New Zealand of Magtork Hysteresis Brakes and Clutches from Magnetic Technologies.
Advantages of Magtork Brakes & Clutches:
A. Clamping Screw
Large, industrial knurled adjustment with socket cap screw for locking the adjustment. The adjustment has positive stops at "0" and "100%".
B. Matched Magnetic Assemblies
Magnetic Technologies do all their own magnetizing in house. This enables them to control flux density in the magnetic assemblies which provides adjustability and consistency across their range of units.
C. Wave Spring
To eliminate any tolerance build up, Magnetic Technologies add a wave spring to take out accumulated tolerance and to pre-load the bearings with the correct amount of pressure to allow easy adjustment and virtually zero end play in the rotor.
D. Ball Bearing
Because the bearing is the only wearing part, Magnetic Technologies use premium sealed ball bearings. A high temperature lubricant is used to assist with longevity.
E. Set Screw Collar
Magnetic Technologies adds an extra set screw collar, for easier mounting. More importantly an oversized set screw can now be used to give thread engagement and a positive shaft connection.
