TREIF, represented in Australia by CBS Foodtech , has released the Divider 400 Smart slicer. Products can be shingled or stacked right up to the last slice.
In single-row slicing an output of 400 slices per minute can be reached due to the vertical servo-driven infeed and Teflon-coated blade. In multi-row slicing the product packages are laid out perfectly, with no slanted or distorted rows or stacks.
The servo-driven machine with computer control panel allows for quick change over of cutting programs, suitable for small production runs of different products. The Divider can handle products up to 800mm in length and up to a calibre of 160mm. Different product grippers, blades and holders allow cutting of varying product types, including cheese, ham, salami and prosciutto.
Unlike circular blades the consistent application of the sickle blade technique minimises the contact between blade and product and significantly reduces the possibility of contamination. Products stay fresher for longer and sickle blades provide a smoother cut with no jagged edges or uneven surfaces.
When the infeed chamber is tilted back and the knife box is open all important machine parts are easily accessible and can be removed in seconds for an in-depth clean. This easy access to the cutting chamber facilitates cleaning and blades changes. The TREIF Divider 400 Smart will be on display at the Foodpro Exhibition at Darling harbour.
