STW ESX Controllers and Sensors:

  • ESX is a family of rugged standardized controllers proven in hundreds of mobile applications. Designed for harsh environments, ESX is freely programmable (STW-CoDeSys or C). Proportional valves using current regulated PWM coils or PVG type can be driven directly. Fully featured for Total Machine control in distributed mode using CAN Bus or as standalone controllers ESX allows you to work with CAN Bus (Layer 2) or HLPs such as CANopen or SAEJ1939
  • Available in various sizes, form factors and number of I/Os, ESX family of controllers is available as ESX-Micro, ESX-IOXp, ESX-LT, ESX-LTplus, ESX, ESX-C using 16 bit microcontrollers. ESX-3XM and ESX-3XL is the latest introduction to the ESX family using 150MHz 32 bit Tricore processors, in 2 sizes, with upto 128 I/Os
  • The ESX contains advanced measures for EMC and a robust housing for all mobile environments
  • All inputs and outputs contain internal diagnostics, with protection against over voltage and against short circuiting to ground or to supply voltage. An integrated safety relay provides a master switch off to all outputs in the event of any failures. The ESX is also available in a variant that is TÜV certified for safety relevant applications (safety integrity level 2)
  • Teleservice controllers TC1,TC3 and C2C complement the controllers in datalogging, diagnostics and machine information which can be made available with GPS tracking through a webserver or other modes
  • ESX-TC3G extends the Linux-based telematic TC3 product range. Based on TC3 platform with additional features that make the use of telematics in difficult environmental conditions powerful. Wired communication interfaces include a digital input and digital output, two CAN interfaces, Ethernet and an RS232 interface. Also it has a USB interface for service purposes. For wireless data transfer, the device is able to use 2G/3G mobile communication, WLAN and Bluetooth. The position of the device can be determined via a GPS/GLONASS receiver.Available in two different versions: either with integrated antennas or with connection ports for external antennas. No additional costs are incurred for licenses or expensive development tools

Pressure sensors
STW supplies robust thin-film sensors for accurate pressure measurement and complete transmitters with thin-film, ceramic or silicon sensors. In addition to the micro-structuring, coating of the thin-film sensor and the required electronics and housing, STW develops product specific hardware for installation and connection. For applications in extreme conditions STW supplies thin-film sensors for pressure up to 3,000 bar and medium temperatures of up to 300°C. Pressure sensors are available with industry standard outputs such as 0-5V, 0.5-4.5V, 0-10V, 0-20m, 4-20mA, CAN, CANopen and J1939 outputs and hydraulic connections in BSP, NPT, SAE and metric sizes.

F01 series
STW launched their new pressure transmitter type F01 to meet the requirements of ISO 13849-1, meeting Performance Level (PLd) and can be used for safety relevant applications. The transmitter has a high medium compatibility, as the entire medium contact area is made of stainless steel. It is available from 10 bar to 1000 bar, and features a 4-20mA out-put, as well as a switching output. Optionally a changeover contact is available (without analog output). To ensure the flexible application of the F01 the user can choose among different pressure connections. The electrical connection is via a 5-pin M12 connector. Calibration of the transmitter over temperature means an overall accuracy of 1% FS in the range of 0 to 80 ° C can be achieved. The maximum medium temperature is +150 ° C
