CADDIT CAD Software have announced their new partnership with Alibre. The new relationship with Alibre will offer support and training as well as new users local sales and download services direct from the CADDIT CAD Software.net website in Australia.
Alibre provide CAD/CAM package that everyone can afford and that everyone can use. The easy-to-use CAD software with basic 3D design up to five part assemblies is offered free at no cost. The Alibre Design Standard is an industrial 3D parametric solids modelling and detailing software.

For professional mechanical assembly designs, "Alibre Design Professional" adds full sheet metal fabrication design, direct "freeform" 3D feature editing and removal, PDM file vaulting, beautiful photo-realistic 3D texture rendering studio software and additional 3D standard part libraries. Alibre Design Professional also includes "Algor DesignCheck" 3D FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software free for investigating linear stress analysis problems for Alibre designs.
"Alibre Design Expert", is a full CAD/CAM manufacturing solution. Alibre Expert includes three-axis CNC milling with smart toolpaths which update when the associated Alibre model has changed. Alibre Expert also offers designers the ability to animate assembly motion in their models and do mechanical, fluid, heat transfer and machinist calculations.
All new Alibre Expert purchases will include ALIBRE TRANSLATE for reading CATIA, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks files, as well as the complete training and maintenance pack. The Alibre product line fits with the existing CAD CAM software products from CADDIT CAD Software. With the 3D engine the users can move models back and forth between the systems through the SAT file format.
Both Alibre Design Standard and Alibre Design Professional can be registered through CADDIT CAD Software with a discount from the normal price. Alibre Design Expert will also include the Alibre Translate product as well as the training and support pack free. All Alibre software licenses also include spreadsheet driven design using Microsoft Excel and the ability to import 3D models from other systems like SolidWorks, or STEP and IGES files.
