CNC controlled milling systems from C5 Systems
C5 Systems was established as a small computer hardware and software company in late eighties which was headed by Peter Heraud, managing director, in connection with large engineering firm called Radial Pacific. In earlier days modelling of any type is mostly hand crafted by highly skilled modellers.
C5 Systems focused on design software and modern CNC technology which resulted in CNC controlled mill usage and are capable of creating models of any sizes and scales from any materials. Computerising the development of models for products is from 5 axis CNC milling machine, built, designed and developed by C5 systems. In early nineties computing business and engineering firm are used in parallel to finance by Peter Heraud and also build a prototype CNC machine that can scan surfaces and machining of light materials.
A wide range of services offered by C5 Systems includes large and full scale models like car bodies, large soft moulds like sand casting former, prototype fibreglass parts like bumper facia, large hard moulds like car body kits, wood production parts like sculptured mouldings, architectural facia like tilt slab or building front pattern, reproduction of existing parts like LH to RH dashboard conversion.
