Bürkert 's Type 6213 normally-closed 2/2-Way Solenoid Valve is compact, waterhammer free and comes with a forced coupled diaphragm system for a quiet but powerful 100% continuous duty cycle functionality.
This widely used general purpose solenoid requires little or no maintenance.
The unit allows high flow rates and is suited to use with neutral fluids and water, per-solutions, hot oils, oils with additives and viscous media to 120ºC and 10 bar pressure. This indicates use across all general solenoid valve applications including chemical processing, process systems and manufacturing, cleaning-in-place and sterilising systems, food and beverage processing, mining, textiles, transport and auto, water treatment, waste streams and more.
The 6213 is UL-Listed, UL-Recognized, FM-Approved, European Standards compliant, approved by the Canadian Standards Association and carries numerous additional international, Australian and New Zealand industry specific certifications.
Valve design is based on a modular concept comprising three basic elements: valve assembly, push-over coil and standard cable plug. To ensure ease of ordering, a wide selection of standard combinations may be ordered using one item number.
The 6213 body is available in brass, stainless steel and PPS, with an NBR, FKM or EPDM diaphragm. A wide selection of valve pipe sizes and orifices 1/4 to 2 inches are available, catering to all applications.
The servo-system with coupled diaphragm/armature assembly and armature guide tube is mounted on the valve body, and may be easily changed and replaced as required. The coil is pushed-over the armature guide tube and thus isolated from the media, with media in contact with the valve internals and body only.
The solenoid coil may be locked at four 90º positions, and moved freely between those positions for custom configuration. A wide variety of solenoid coil sizes and power ratings is available.
Cable plugs of type 2508 and 2511 HL are available for specialised electrical applications.
With a global network spanning offices in more than 40 countries and operational outposts in an additional 80, Bürkert Fluid Control Systems is an established and mature global organisation celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2006.
