Burkert Fluid Control Systems has expanded its line of analytical transmitters with the ELEMENT neutrino analytical transmitter for use with a range of different sensor types and for the measurement of pH, ORP or conductivity.

The ELEMENT concept from Burkert Cluid Control Systems combines controllers, valves and sensors in an a high quality stainless steel housing with intelligent architecture. 8202 (for pH or redox potential) and 8222 (for conductivity) ELEMENT neutrino analytical transmitters are high-performance yet economical versions without a display and provide an alternative to the ELEMENT transmitters with a display and keypad.

These new analytical transmitters feature a patented variable electrical connection for pH electrodes. This makes it possible to use most pH electrodes with a 12mm diameter and an S7 connection.

A single standard transmitter can be used for all applications within the system with the ELEMENT neutrino analytical transmitter, providing greater flexibility to the user. Furthermore, the option of selecting from three cell constants for measuring conductivity ensures maximum versatility and adaptability. This all equates to reduced administrative requirements and costs for the user, and a longer life cycle for the transmitter.

The ELEMENT neutrino analytical transmitter features an integrated pt1000 sensor which allows integrated temperature compensation. The temperature value is provided as a second process variable in the unit, which can also be output as 4-20 mA signal. This not only eliminates the need for a separate temperature sensor, but also the separate costs of installation and operation.
