THE newly released Burkert 8045 high temperature (110°C) and pressure (16 bar max) flowmeter is an insertion type magmeter fitting into pipe sizes from ½“ to 8” and above.
The new flowmeter has an integrated indicator; plus analogue and binary outputs.
Fittings are available in stainless steel, brass, PVC, PP and PVDF, covering all hydraulic interfaces as inner/outer thread, flange and tri-clamp.
The sensor body is available in stainless steel. The new electronic box with transparent cover ensures the readability of the process value and as well as mechanical and chemical protection.
The unit is suitable for all application types; CIP, water treatment (PN16 and max. 110°C) including water treatment, cooling circuits, laundries, bleaching, industrial effluents, swimming pools, and textile dying.
The 8045 magmeter is designed for liquids with a conductivity >20µS/cm. The standard outputs of an 8045 magmeter is a pulse signal, analogue 4-20mA signal and two relays.
In many cases the 8045 is the more adequate solution than using an over-engineered full magmeter (up to 50% cheaper from DN80).
Another typical use case of an 8045 magmeter is the substitution of an existing paddle wheel application in case of difficulties with slurries, suspended particles, effluents, or fibres.
