BURKERT Fluid Control Systems now offers a full range of analytical instrumentation that ensures solutions for a broad spectrum of industries.

The launch of its latest product, the PEEK type 8226 inductive conductivity transmitter, complements the PVDF versions already on offer - available with VITON and EPDM seals.

There is a wide range of applications, particularly in the food industry, where CIP processes are used and components are subjected to frequent high temperatures.

PEEK polymer is widely regarded as a material with superb chemical resistance and can be used to form components that will withstand aggressive processes and media and still offer a long service life.

The Burkert PEEK type 8226 inductive conductivity transmitter is one of a whole series of products Burkert offers for applications in the food processing industry, particularly dairy, juices, beer and beverages.

The conductivity transmitter is used to prepare the cleaning solution concentrations and is also used to distinguish between phase changes of the returning water and cleaning solutions.

Thanks to the non-contact principle of measurement it is ideal for difficult or dirty media with suspended solid particles.

The PEEK transmitter complements Burkert's range of flow, pressure, temperature, level and analytical control systems.

All products are equipped with a user-friendly LCD display enabling easy menu guided programming and display of conductivity/resistivity.

Further standard features include the Teach-In function and test simulation for dry run calibration, both leading to significant savings in commissioning and installation time.

All devices will communicate using the industry standard 4-20mA with optional fully programmable relay outputs. The Burkert EasyLink concept allows for those outputs to be connected directly to other Burkert products to form closed loop control systems.
