BURKERT'S externally piloted Type 2000 angle-seat valve is being widely used within heat exchange systems in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The Type 2000 valve is operated with a single or double-acting piston actuator, which is available in PA and PPS (depending on ambient temperature).
Available in threaded or weld end body, in stainless steel or gun metal, the Type 2000 is extremely robust and offers trouble-free operation, says Burkert.
The 2000 series has excellent sealing integrity and long cycle life, with the 2/2 way body featuring especially high flow characteristics.
Operating at pressures to 16 bar, the valve carries fluids at temperatures -10ºC to +180 ºC.
These maintenance-free and robust valves can be easily fitted with a comprehensive range of modular accessories as well as add-ons for additions position indication, stroke limitation or manual override.
Typical system accessories include the Type 6012 pilot valve or 6014 banjo, remote pilot valve panels and silencers, fittings, tubing and other pneumatic components.
The Type 2000 is available with Bürkert's TopControl On/Off 8631 for position feedback, or SideControl 1067 for remote positioning.
The Type 2000 is extremely versatile; it is suited to various media including water, alcohol, oils, fuel, hydraulic fluids, salt solution, alkali solutions, organic solvents and steam.
The Type 2000 is ideal for use with heat exchange applications in all process industries, particularly the food and beverage industry and in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields.
