Bullex Australia are currently exhibiting the Gas Trainer, their new gas detection training device at The Safety Show sydney 2009.
The GasTrainer gas detection training device uses GasSource emitters and sensor technology to simulate chemical and explosive gas emission sources. It has a durable handheld meter which reads the ‘emissions’ of four different ‘gases’. With its customizable alarm levels and intensity settings, it effectively provides gas safety training, without the inherent dangers of exposure to real gases.
The GasTrainer gas detection training device is suitable for both fire service professionals and safety personnel. It provides instruction on the behaviour of gases, training in methods to locate emission sources, and instruction on how to establish safety perimeters in the event of gas leaks.
Featuring three different GasSource emitters with high and low strength settings, the GasTrainer gas detection training package can set up various training senarios. By using the instructor unit, the trainer can monitor students’ activities. He/she can also set alarm levels, adjust the gas being monitored and manually increase or decrease gas readings to vary training challenges.
A detachable metering wand allows students to train on metering confined spaces and locating point source emissions.
