THE Brevini Group has acquired Aron S.p.A., an Italian company based in based in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Established in 1978, Aron specialises in the manufacture and marketing of hydraulic systems, covering directional control valves, pressure control valves and proportional directional control valves and electronics.

The acquisition will allow the Brevini Group, represented locally by its subsidiary, Brevini Australia, with a more comprehensive offering in the hydraulics market.

Aron products will complement the Hydr-App offering, with its signature product range of mini power packs.

Aron directional control valves range from cetop 2 through to cetop 8.

Used in a wide range of industries, including mobile applications, "the new range will allow us to service the field of industrial valving, while giving greater depth to our hydraulic products offering," Brevini Australia managing director Chris Bayliss said.

Internationally, the Aron company will be headed by its previous head, Antonio Tommasi, who will continue as general manager.
