Freeway and railway infrastructure project often involve bridges and girders, with conveyor systems with long trusses. Boom’s low profile movers have been designed to remove the inefficiencies such as slowness and tediousness of prime movers and trailing jinker.
The low profile prime movers can be used at the front to steer and pull along desired tracks, with a low profile prime mover holding up the rear to push and steer the rear of the load around upcoming corners.
With a low profile prime mover at the rear, the rear end can be prevented from dragging or cutting across corners, enabling tighter turning.
Boom’s low profile movers are adapted from a CLR Mack chassis and powered by a 210 horsepower diesel engine able to carry up to an 81 tonne load. The movers have a certified ROPS protection of 80 tonnes downward pressure and 60 tonnes sideway pressure.
