Blucher Australia recently supplied a 316L stainless steel drainage system for Beringer Blass wine bottling facility in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.
Beringer Blass required a reliable and flexible high standard drainage system for their newly planned 36,000sqm wine bottling plant that would also offer cost effectiveness.
Mirek Janousek is a plumbing consultant with engineering consultancy Beca and recommended the Blucher 316L stainless steel drainage system as he believes them to be the Rolls Royce of plumbing solutions.
It was necessary for the drainage system to be able to withstand not only high temperatures up to 82°C but also occasionally sulphuric acid. PVC would not have been a suitable material to use in the drainage, and iron was too inflexible and would have been vulnerable to corrosion
Blucher’s stainless steel drainage system was especially simple to install and offered exceptional cost effectiveness due to this.
