The Mapress Press Fit System combined with the pressing tool has been developed over 30 years and is guaranteed to create permanently tight connections that cannot be pulled apart.

The Mapress pipe and fittings offer a convenient solution catering for new system installations as well as modernisation and extensions to existing pipe work.

Applications of Press Fittings
Mechanical, process plant, chemical and petrochemical engineering involve a wide variety of applications for industrial pipe work, including the
  • Carrying of coolant and treated or untreated process water
  • Steam and condensate
  • Deionised water
  • Water for fire extinguishing systems and hydrants
  • Mineral oils, fuels, compressed air
  • Nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen
The Mapress system used with the appropriate Mapress seal rings is suitable for all of these types of applications.

Features of The Mapress Press Fit System
Press fitting of pipes and connections eliminates the need for welded joins. The connections are made through the application of physical pressure. This means no welded joins, no inert gas shielding, no fire risk and no screw tightening.
  • The Mapress System is safe and reliable
  • Provides quick and easy installation of pipe work
  • Permanently tight connections cannot be pulled apart
  • The Mapress System has a working pressure of 2,500kpa or 360psi and can withstand temperatures above 200 celcius
  • Speed of installation means minimal machinery downtime and therefore maximum plant availability
