MSR electronics, represented in Australia by Birrer Industries has introduced a miniaturised datalogger MSR 145W.

The sealed water tight unit, with its electronics module cast in silicon has potential for applications in medicine and food sector.

The thumb-sized MSR 145W can store over 2 million measurement parameters and is capable of capturing and saving a range of different physical measurements simultaneously.

The MSR 145W (MSR = Modular Signal Recorder) combines all the necessary sensors for measuring and recording important physical quantities in the small possible space. It has a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor with integrated thermometer, a pressure sensor with integrated thermometer and a 3-axis acceleration and position sensor (X, Y and Z axes).

The measurement parameters can be transferred to a PC both during the measurement process and later.

User-friendly high-tech unit:

The unit is only 52mm long and weighs just 18g. The measurement and storage characteristics of the MSR 145W can be adjusted to suit customer’s requirements.

Due to the integrated real time clock the data from any number of MSR 145W can be merged synchronously into a single data record.

A rechargeable lithium polymer battery powers the unit and is charged via the USB connection. One battery charge is sufficient for operation of the unit for several months (measurement rate 1/minute).

The datalogger’s multifunctionality makes the MSR 145 suitable for diverse applications in environmental technology, commerce, science, in research and development, engineering and the chemical / pharmaceutical industries.
