AVIO has introduced a new 5" display for its series TVS-600 infrared camera. According to AVIO, the new display is brighter and clearer than previous models and very well suited for working outdoors and even in direct sunlight.
Available from Selby-Biolab , the TVS-600 is a Japanese infrared system based on the latest uncooled microbolometric detector technology. Main areas of application are preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, testing and research and development.
The flip-out display differentiates AVIO cameras from other microbolometric systems available in the market. It is large enough to have separate shortcuts to all main functions.
The manufacturer claims its concept is better, because an operator does not need to keep the camera in front of the face with one eye shut during the inspection. This brings with it additional safety benefits associated with allowing the user to be mindful of the surroundings.
Selby Biolab is AVIO's agent in Australia and New Zealand.
