TML’s KG-B transducers are designed to measure crack openings or displacement in two directions simultaneously.
The crack displacement transducers are most commonly used in the measurement of openings caused by cracks or joints in concrete in addition to the horizontal shear displacement.
The crack displacement transducer is glued to a mounting plate, which is then mounted onto the concrete or any structure.
The mounting plate is detachable allowing the transducer to be demounted and set on a different structure. This allows repeated use of the displacement transducer on different sections of the concrete or different structures.
Compact and lightweight, the crack displacement transducers are easy to handle as well as use. Additionally, the device’s small size allows it to be readily used indoors for crack measurements.
KG-B crack displacement transducers are available in Australia and New Zealand from Bestech Australia.
