Bestech Australia presents the Model TZ-5CA terminal type thermocouple transducer. This is a converter which inputs various DC thermocouple signals and then outputs their corresponding standardized signals. It can accept any DC voltage as its power supply, even if it is small in size.
This thermocouple transducer can convert J, K, R, S and T type thermocouple signals into 10 different DC voltage and current outputs.
The thermocouple transducer employs a case of terminal board construction, used with 3.5mm screw terminals. It can be mounted on DIN rails in one touch.
Additionally, as the input, output and power ports are mutually isolated, there is an improvement in noise rejection, and miniaturisation of equipment will also be realised.
Base accuracy is ±0.2% of full scale, and operating ambient temperature can be -5 to 50°C. The converter unit weighs only 80 grams, and a 24V DC power supply is generally used.
These thermocouple transducers have been pre-calibrated at the factory prior to shipment. However, they are designed so that the zero point and span can be externally adjusted, for periodical calibration.
