Bestech Australia serves the Australian and NZ market with their measurement and control technology. They present the MS series liquid level sensor, from Nohken, Japan. This sensor is suitable for level monitoring in the storage and shipment for oil, beer, other beverages and pharmaceuticals. It is used for continuous process control and precise inventory control.
The level sensor works on a magnetostrictive principle and is designed for precision measurement. With its high accuracy of ±0.1% FS for the SS float and ±0.2% FS for the PVC float, the sensor can monitor accurately and continuously.
As the float rises or falls on the stem, a continuous 4 to 20 mA electrical signal is transmitted in proportion to the liquid level. The monitoring unit is microprocessor-based and compact. It provides for easy calibration, volume conversion, linearisation, analog output and relay outputs.
The MS series delivers a 4 to 20 mA output and works with a wide range of liquids. There are different models within the series, including high temperature and an intrinsically safe models.
