Bestech Australia presents the Lorenz DR-2112/DR-2412 torque cells. Both these sensors have a contactless and digital signal transmission from shaft to case, which means no transmission failure and zero maintenance required.
The DR-2112 has a ±5V analogue output, and 10k sample rate. The DR2412 uses an RS485 interface, with auto identification of measuring range, serial number and date of calibration. The sample rate here is 5k.
These torque cells have male drives to enable the transducer to be located correctly. A speed/ angle sensor is also integrated in the torque dynamometer.
The torque cell is protected to a rating of IP50.
This series of torque cells have a large variety of measuring ranges, from 0.03 to 20000 Nm. Accuracy is excellent at ±0.1% of full scale, while repeatability is a low ±0.02%. The excitation voltage is 12 to 28V DC. The nominal temperature range is 5 to 45°C, and the temperature coefficient of sensitivity and zero are 0.01 and 0.02 %full scale/K respectively. The bandwidth is 70% peak to peak.
