Bestech Australia offer the LTA-NA torque transducer from TML, Japan. The LTA-NA torque transducer is a high precision transducer that is used to measure tightening force on nuts and bolts. Compact and light in weight, it is mounted between the socket and the socket wrench handle. The LTA-NA torque transducer uses a strainmeter to take readings and can be used to take peak readings by connecting it to a peak hold measuring instrument.
The LTA-NA torque transducer has a variety of capacities ranging from 50 to 500 Nm. The rated output is 2mV/V for all capacities except the 200Nm, which has a rated output of 3mV/V. Non-linearity is approximately 0.3% of the rated output, while zero balance is 10% of rated output. The LTA-NA torque transducer has a temperature range of -10 to 60°C, and an exciting voltage below 3V is recommended to be used. The LTA-NA torque transducer unit weighs between 0.25kg and 1.5kg, depending on which capacity is used. A 5m, 4-core shielded vinyl cable is supplied with the unit, which has a protection rating of IP40.
