Bestech Australia have launched the Optris LS (LaserSight) infrared thermometer that supports the professional non-contact temperature measurement of objects as small as 1mm in a temperature range between -35°C to 900°C.
The Optris LS (LaserSight) infrared thermometer can be used in applications such as preventive maintenance, quality management, research and development and electronic design. The infrared thermometer is an alternative to thermal imagers. The precision of the crosshair laser sighting indicates the actual spot size at any distance with absolute accuracy. The high quality (75:1 resolution) optical performance is the distinguishing feature of the Optris LS (LaserSight) infrared thermometer.
The Optris LS (LaserSight) infrared thermometer gives temperature readings to an accuracy of ±0.75% of the reading, and has a temperature resolution of 0.1°C. Repeatability is ±0.5% of the reading. The response time is relatively fast at 150ms for 95% of the signal.
The Optris LS (LaserSight) infrared thermometer is lightweight at 420g, and features a multi function flip display. It can be powered by two AA alkaline batteries, which gives a 10 hour life time with laser on, or through USB. The USB interface and graphic software with oscilloscope function allows easy transfer and graphing of temperature with time.
