Bestech Australia introduces the MR-7 Series inductive linear position sensors designed for measuring the ram position of hydraulic and large pneumatic cylinders.

Designed as a drop-in form, fit and function replacement for port-mounted magnetostrictive sensors, the MR-7 Series sensors are robust and cost-effective, and specifically target ram position sensing applications in industrial, mobile and subsea hydraulic cylinders as well as large pneumatic actuators.

Key features of MR-7 Series inductive linear position sensors include contactless inductive sensing technology; measurement range 100 - 900 mm; operates to 5000 psi or 3000 m depth; SAE J1926-8 or ISO 6149-1 (M18) male O-ring port; IEC IP-67 aluminium or stainless steel housing; operational temperature 85°C (up to 105°C); DC voltage or current analogue output; and SenSet field adjustable scaling.
