Motor sports sensors

Bestech Australia  offers load cells, accelerometers and pressure transducers from FGP, France built to withstand extremes of temperature, vibration and interference in motor sport.

These sensors are especially designed to provide sensing solutions to the motor sports measurement needs.

Applications include:

• Critical on-car control and mapping for engine, gear box, hydraulics, suspension movement and inertial control
• Test bench sensors for vibration, crash-test and endurance testing

XA3001 Triaxial Accelerometer for F1 race cars with its standard industry dimensions is easily installed and used as a control sensor on the car for stability.

XF3002 Miniature Load Cell measures tension and compression with high accuracy on gear shifts of race cars and racing motorcycles. These miniature load cells are constructed in titanium and have a reinforced cable output with ability to withstand high temperature ranges.

XF3017-2 Miniature Load Cell for static and dynamic applications is designed to measure tension and compression in static and dynamic applications e.g. on tie rods.

XP1005-2 Miniature Pressure Transducer for atmospheric pressure, fluid or fuel pressure measurement has a small size and rugged construction to allow for direct engine and brake mounting. They are built to withstand extremes of temperature and vibration.

XP1010-2 Miniature Pressure Transducer for pressure measurement on hydraulic or pneumatic control systems is in a compact titanium housing that is highly media compatible; a metal screen ensures extra protection of the sensitive diaphragm.

XP1011 Miniature Pressure Transducer to control fluid pressure in transmission, engine and braking systems is constructed in stainless steel to withstand large temperature variations and strong vibrations. This motor sport pressure transducer is available with an integrated temperature sensor.

XP1049 Miniature Pressure Transducer for brake pressure and engine measurements with M8 pressure connector is ideal for brake pressure and engine measurements. A high performance amplifier with on-board EMI/RFI filters ensures a clean transducer signal.
