Bestech Australia  offer induNCDT IWS inductive displacement sensor, from Micro-Epsilon. It is designed for non-contact displacement and distance measurements against ferromagnetic materials.

The measurement ranges in different models vary from 3 to 16mm and the induNCDT IWS displacement sensor has a linearity of better than ±2%. Dynamic resolution is 0.5% of full scale and the output is in analogue voltage form. The induNCDT IWS inductive displacement sensor can be operated in a temperature range of -18 to 82°C.

Measurements against non-ferromagnetic materials such as aluminium are possible with a reduced measurement range. The induNCDT IWS inductive displacement sensor is used in applications for industrial production and machinery equipment and is preferred for OEM-use because of its better performance/price ratio.

The induNCDT IWS inductive displacement sensor features integrated signal conditioning and is suitable for harsh environments. It has a protection rating of IP67.
