Bestech Australia has introduced KB-B inclinometer from TML, Japan that is used to measure the inclination of structures subject to strong impact or the inclination of piles when they are driven into the ground.
It is set on an excavation bucket for the diaphragm wall construction method to monitor and control the conditions of vertical excavation work.
These inclinometers are available for either X-axis or Y-axis measurement. The difference between these two models is the difference in the directions of measurement relative to the mounting surface.
These inclinometers come in a range of +/-0.5 degrees to +/- 2 degrees with an output of up to 1mV/V. They have a nonlinearity of less than 2%.
A range of other inclinometer models is available to measure up to +/- 10 degrees or to measure both X-Y axis simultaneously. Automatic measurement and graphical slope monitoring is possible with the TML logger TDS 602.
The KB-B inclinometers and related instrumentation are available in Australia and New Zealand from Bestech Australia.
