This temperature sensor, available from Bestech Australia can measure in a temperature range of -32 up to 760°C, using precision optics for accurate non-contact temperature measurement. Optical resolutions can be up to 40:1, and it includes laser sighting with narrow beam aiming for exact measurement of objects as small as 13mm in any distance less than 140mm. Fast, 0.3 second scanning of cold and hot spots can be done with this handheld temperature sensor as well. Object emissivities can be adjusted even after the measurement is taken with the OFFSET and HOLD functions.
All that is required for a temperature measurement to be taken is for the user to aim the laser on the target, press the trigger and read off the temperature. Functions like MAX and MIN temperature results are shown straight away on the LCD.
