Bestech Australia present the P26 differential pressure transmitter, from Halstrup-Walcher. In addition to differential pressure data, this pressure transducer also records positive and negative overpressures. Measurement ranges between 100Pa and 100kPa are freely scalable from 10% to 100%.
Two optional contact points allow the user to connect visual or audible alarms that would be triggered when values exceed certain limits. This pressure transmitter can, if necessary, communicate with a master control unit through an RS232 interface. An adjustable time constant (up to 60s) allows the instrument to produce a calm output signal, even under fluctuating pressure conditions.
The automatic zero-point calibration prevents zero-point drift. An integrated valve also provides a high level of overpressure protection. Margin of error is approximately 0.5% + 0.3Pa, and outputs include 0V to 10V, ±5V, 0mA to 20mA and 4mA to 20mA.
The pressure transmitter can be mounted either on a wall or on top-hat rails. An LCD display is optional and can display results in pressure units other than Pa or kPa, such as mmH2O. The menu comes in 4 different languages (English, German, Italian and French). P26 differential pressure transmitter is useful for monitoring pressure in clean rooms, for use in special mechanical engineering applications, or for monitoring a sterile environment such as a laboratory, pharmaceutical plant or an operating room.
