FGP Sensors has designed a new bi-directional load cell for use on rotating shaft bearing systems. With outside diameter of 108 mm, inside diameter of 47 mm and thickness 16 mm, the FN7410 fits in the ball bearing holder to measure radial and transverse forces under different working regimes.

Through accurate measurements this two axis force sensor calculates the performances of the bearing system, thus enabling the qualification of new sources of bearing products on turbines, electric engines, pumps, generators.

The FN7410 load cell offers operating ranges of 500 N in both X and Y directions and measures the bearing force with a non-linearity of better than +/-0.5%. The FN7410 load cell features high level signal output from 0.5 to 9.5 Vdc and excitation of 24VDC to enable use with several standard data acquisition systems. Dimensions and performances of the sensor can be modified on request.
