It is a compact, easy to operate spring loaded strain displacement transducer, also referred to as LSCT (Linear Strain Conversion Transducer). As it is designed to produce a large output and deliver stable performance, highly accurate measurements can be made.
CDP strain displacement transducers are suitable for both static and dynamic displacement and position measurements. CDP series has a displacement measuring range of 5mm to 100mm. It has good nonlinearity of up to 0.1% FRO. It works with most standard strain gauge signal conditioners, displays and data loggers.
The CDP-M strain displacement transducer or LSCT is a small high sensitivity position transducer. It’s output is same as CDP series but it is compact with a body diameter of only 10mm. It is available in a range of 5mm, 10mm and 25mm. A fixing holder is also supplied as a standard accessory. Various contact tips are available as an option.
