Bestech Australia introduces the Combustion Lab Unit C492 designed to provide students with a better understanding of the fundamentals of combustion and burner operations.
Employing burners similar to those used in commercial operations, the Combustion Lab Unit C492 uses light oils or gases, and is framed mounted and fully instrumented requiring only a conventional single phase electrical supply, cooling water and the chosen fuel. The lab unit’s frame mount allows easy access to the burner, controls and combustion chamber.
Safety features have been integrated into the lab unit to reduce the risk of accidents or safety protocols being compromised. An optional high specification gas analyser is also available, which allows investigation of CO, NO and SO2 gases in conjunction with the standard analysis.
The package burner starts with an air purge, igniting the fuel source as the lab unit is automatically set to a safe setting. The flame burns within a stainless steel combustion chamber, with observation windows implemented to allow viewing access, which is water cooled to prevent flame impingement under normal conditions.
The Combustion Lab Unit C492 is recommended for those concerned with the combustion of fuels and energy conservation.
