Bestech Australia introduces a new application-independent touchscreen data logger from AHLBORN, Germany.
The ALMEMO 710 touchscreen data logger can connect to and evaluate all new D7 sensors as well as existing sensors. The ALMEMO V7 connector/plug processes up to 10 channels for measured values and function settings including multi-value sensors, and connects external devices such as complex chemical analysers and energy analysers.
Sensors using analogue signals pass via the integrated high-speed, high-resolution A/D converter in ALMEMO 710. Digital D6 and the latest digital D7 sensors transfer their measured values to the measuring instrument direct in digital form. The measuring instrument supports all ALMEMO plug connectors and sensor functions.
Digital D6/ D7 sensors can be configured directly via the touchscreen. Measured values can be displayed with up to 8 digits (depending on range) and the units with up to 6 characters. Sensor designation can be up to 20 characters.
Featuring a contemporary design, ALMEMO 710 comes with a generous brightly illuminated 5.7-inch colour graphics display for all measured values and functions, with a software wizard and online help enabling ease of use. The touchscreen capability allows the user to turn the data logger on/off and switch between menus by simply touching the icons on the screen. Users can also configure their own customised user menus to display parameters required by a particular application.
ALMEMO 710 can be rail mounted to suit both fixed and mobile applications. All measurement data can be stored in an 8MB flash memory or extended onto a plug-in micro SD card that allows 1000 measurements per second measuring speed; the data logger can also be run in energy-saving sleep mode for autonomous long-term monitoring. The measured data can be downloaded to a PC.
The attractive desktop housing with an impact protective rubber coating ensures error-free field measurements in difficult industrial environments. A powerful rechargeable lithium battery ensures long-time operation.
