Bestech Australia presents the SPECTROTILT 4-20mA Electronic Inclinometer, a fully signal conditioned, single axis tilt sensor. SPECTROTILT is a combination of a proprietary glass/ceramic hybrid electrolytic tilt sensor and custom electronics.
Featuring a ±60° linear sensing range, and a -40 to 70°C operating temperature range, this electronic inclinometer can be used for such applications as process monitoring and weir and spillway gate position. Features include a rugged aluminium housing, hermetically sealed sensing element, and EMI/ESD protection to help eliminate environmental concerns.
An input DC voltage of 14 to 25V is required by this inclinometer, and the 4-20mA output is compatible with most PLCs. Linearity is approximately 1% of the reading, while resolution is 0.001 degrees and there is a repeatability of 0.02 degrees. The unit weighs only 80 grams.
The inclinometer is designed to operate in physically demanding environments and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The viscosity of the fluid inside the sensing element can also be altered to decrease susceptibility in high vibration environments.
