Bestech Australia supplies the TD70 torque sensor from ME Systeme, Germany. This torque sensor is suitable for measurement of reaction moment in the clock industry and wind tunnel weighers as well as for measurement of frictional forces.
The torque sensor consists of an outer flange and an inner flange, which are connected by four S-shaped spiral springs. Outer and inner flanges have 4 M4 threads each for torque introduction. Spacer pieces can be used as shock absorbers with M4 threads. Overload is prevented through the integrated mechanical stopper.
The sensor can measure to nominal torques of 0.05, 0.12 or 0.3 Nm. It has a nominal temperature range of -20 to +60 degree Celsius. The rated Output of this unit is 0.75 ± 0.2 mV/V (exact nominal output will be given for each sensor individually). Non-linearity and overall accuracy are less than 0.1% of full scale, and the temperature coefficients of zero and of the nominal output are ≤±0.05 %full scale/K.
The torque sensor is constructed of aluminium alloy and measures 70 x 12.5mm (D x H) approximately.
