The AccuRange laser displacement sensors are designed to measure the displacement or distance from a fixed point of most materials or target surfaces that are stationary or moving. Surfaces may include dull to glass and mirror finishes.
The AccuRange 200 utilises the triangulation principle to measure high precision displacements of full range from 6mm with 2µm resolution to 50mm with 15µm resolution.
Key applications of AccuRange laser displacement sensors include measurement of the position of parts during assembly, thickness measurement of web material, pin height check, profile measurement, road surface profiling and structure deformation measurement.
The non-contact laser displacement sensors do not wear out or exert any mechanical influence on the target or material surface.
The AccuRange 200 cannot be overloaded either. Setting up the laser displacement sensor is easy since the LASER beam is visible.
Based on the selected range, the stand-off or the minimum distance between the sensor head and the target is from 21mm to 41mm.
Standard analogue output signals are 4 -20 mA and 0 -10V, and a full duplex RS232 digital interface is also standard.
Two programmable PNP and NPN alarm relay outputs are included, and the recommended voltage supply is from 12 to 30Vdc.
