Two leading U.S. innovators - Best Manufacturing Company in the hand and arm protection sector and DuPont Company in science-based services and products are teaming up to provide cut-resistant hand and arm protection for the world's workforce.
The two companies announced that Best Glove Manufacturing is now a licensed manufacturer for Kevlar industrial gloves and apparel.
"As a result of this agreement, we have been able to pair Best's coating technology with DuPont's cut-resistant Kevlar fibre technology for truly superior cut-resistant gloves and sleeves," Best Director of Marketing Tom Eggleston said. "Best U.S.-manufactured cut-resistant gloves will now carry the Kevlar trademark."
Best, a leading U.S. manufacturer of hand and arm protection currently has more than 16 cut-resistant hand/arm protection products in its line.
The company also manufactures chemical-resistant, disposable, general purpose and specialty gloves, which are worn in workplaces around the globe.
DuPont Kevlar is an ideal cut resistant fibre.
In addition, the Kevlar brand is backed by a licensing program that helps ensure end-users will receive high quality product made with Kevlar fibre.
Licensees are required to meet standards for manufacturing expertise, quality control and record keeping. In addition, DuPont provides Licensees with technical marketing and lab support for Kevlar fibre.
