BALLANTYNE Food Ingredients has invested in a product research program to develop a range of enhanced cheese flavours.

The research is funded by the National Food Industry Strategy Ltd Food Innovation Grants program, and aims to develop technology to manufacture stronger and more consistent flavours of cheese.

According to Ballantyne, Australia’s value-added dairy product dominance made the research possible, and, if successful, the company has identified market opportunities domestically and offshore.
