Baldor Australia Pty Ltd has recently expanded their electronics service and repairs workshop to provide additional bench and storage space as well as work stations.
Having more than doubled in size to incorporate a total area of 95m², the newly expanded facility will help Baldor Australia enhance their level of services.
Baldor’s electronics service and repairs workshop provides repairs and refurbishment for the entire range of Baldor and KB Electronics products.
These include AC and DC inverter drives, soft starters, AC and DC servo drives, Baldor motion controllers as well as Delta Tau motion controllers.
Full inspection and testing is conducted on items received for service. A fixed quotation is provided after analysis detailing parts and labour charges. The cost of this initial inspection is deducted from the repair charge subject to customer approval.
Electronic technicians and engineers at Baldor’s service and repair workshop are fully trained to use the latest technology to test and repair electronic equipment. The service centre is equipped with 100 Amps power supply for testing purposes.
A key advantage is Baldor’s large inventory of components and spare parts that facilitates average repair turnaround times of just 3 working days. Urgent repairs can be performed on the same day subject to availability of parts.
The expansion service facility includes additional computerised test stations and custom panels for testing motion control product functionality quickly and thoroughly.
David Edington of Edington Agencies is impressed with the newly expanded electronics service and repairs workshop.
He says that the support facility will provide customers with a high degree of confidence while choosing Baldor products.
He also appreciates the workshop’s ability to provide support for older products.
