AUSTRALIAN Baldor has launched a new range of digital inverter drives which are compact, easy to setup and provide a cost effective solution of variable speed control of motors up to 22kW.
There are three series of drives within the KB Genesis product range -- the KBE2, KBN2 and KBV2.
The KBE2 series features single phase input for 0.18kW to 2.2kW three phase ac motor control.
The three digit LED display and digital keypad provides simple, direct operation and set-up. Remote operation is achieved via isolated terminals for start/stop, forward/reverse, and analog I/O. Drives are available with built-in filters in IP20 or IP65 ratings.
The KBN2 range is available for 415V ac input for 0.75kW to 22kW three phase motors. It has the features of the KBE2 drives as well as enhanced programmable features such as preset speeds, process timers, sequence control functions, and a four digit LED display that can be remote mounted.
Optional RS232/485 communications with Windows-based software allows for even simpler setup of one or more drives. These drives are available in IP20 or IP65 ratings.
The KBV2 range of drives provides control for 0.18kW up to 22kW three phase motors. The keypad provides direct programming and custom readouts.
Sensorless and closed loop flux vector control provides for superior motor control. Built in RS232/485 communications and optional DeviceNet, a Profibus and Lonworks protocol allows simple system connectivity, with the built-in PID loop providing advanced process control solutions.
With Baldor's extensive range of electric motors, the KB Genesis inverter drives enhance the range of flexible motor and drive systems available from Australian Baldor.
