BACKPLANE Systems Technology has announced Keymat's latest range of vandal resistant keyboards, the STORM 2200 Series.
These keyboards have been designed for applications in exposed, unsupervised or public environments.
This series of vandal resistant keyboards includes versions with a trackball, additional function keys, a numeric keypad or a standard compact version.
These four styles have been designed to cater for the needs of a variety of demanding applications. They have been constructed for use in tough conditions and are concisely formatted to avoid an unnecessary array of keys that are rarely required by the kiosk user.
The 2200 Series features a responsive key action ensuring rapid and reliable data entry in tough, wet or industrial conditions.
A hardened stainless steel front plate coupled with cast metal or high impact polymer keys ensure the keyboard's resistance to hard use, abuse and vandalism.
The keyboards are sealed to IP65 making them suitable for use in unsupervised public or industrial environments.
