BACKPLANE Systems Technology will be exhibiting IBASE's MB860 Mini-ITX motherboard at National Manufacturing Week Melbourne 2005. The MB860 uses the Transmeta Efficeon TM8600 processor and supports processor speeds of up to 1.2GHz and SO-DIMM DDR modules with capacities up to 1GB.
The onboard 16MB ATI M7 graphics controller delivers good performance in 3D applications and graphic-intensive programs. The motherboard has four USB 2.0 ports, supporting a data transfer rate of 480Mbps. Network connectivity is available through the onboard Realtek 8100C 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and an optional 8110S Gigabit Ethernet controller.
A PCI slot, four serial ports and an optional Mini PCI socket allow later expansion. The MB860 is suitable for industrial applications including automation control, networking and telecommunications. For more information on the MB860 visit Backplane Systems on Stand 5519 at National Manufacturing Week Melbourne 2005.
