BACKPLANE Systems Technology will feature a range of hardware and software technologies suitable for a variety of manufacturing applications.
Some of the products to be showcased include InduProof2 waterproof keyboard and mouse, the MB860 Mini-ITX motherboard and the Microspace PC40 fanless mini PC for high-performance applications.
The specialised keyboard, TKG-105a-IP68-GREEN, and specialised mouse, TKH-MAUS-IP68-GREEN-OPT, are IP68-rated which ensures they are resistant against dust, water and other liquids. Both of these high-quality products can be easily disinfected and provide one of the best resistances to chemical contact through InduKey's silicone surface sealing.
The MB860 uses Transmeta Efficeon processors and represents a new breakthrough in efficient computing as it features the latest embedded Transmeta Efficeon TM8600 processor. The motherboard supports processor speeds of up to 1.2GHz and SO-DIMM DDR modules with capacities up to 1GB, providing the necessary bandwidth for today's demanding applications. The onboard 16MB ATI M7 graphics controller delivers compelling performance in 3D applications and graphical intensive programs.
The new MPC40 is based on the Intel Pentium M 738 processor with 1.4GHz, 2.045k L2 cache and 400MHz FSB. This is a performance comparable with a 2.8GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor. The PC features a video memory of up to 64MB. The video controller features two different video outputs to feed two different monitors, one VGA (CRT) and one DVI, with the same or with different images. The PC's main memory is 512MB DDR RAM and can be expanded up to 1GB.
Backplane Systems Technology is at stand 5519 in the CIMtech section at National Manufacturing Week 2005, in Melbourne, May 10-13.
