Backplane Systems Technology has announced the release of MPC-42W5 digital signage computers, durable and ultra slim machines that feature a high degree of reliability and low power consumption.
These digital signage computers are embedded with a 5.25" single-board (EBM-PNV) which is powered by an Intel Atom dual-core D525 processor with an Intel ICH8-M chipset. The board can be replaced with a Mini-ITX, dual-code or quad-code processor without having to change the system itself.
A variety of I/O interfaces are available on MPC-42W5 computers, which can be selected to suit the requirements of a customer, including 1 CF, 1 LAN, 1 COM, 1 VGA, 2 Mini-PCIe and 2 USB.
