BACKPLANE Systems Technology has released InduKey Keyboard Production's new industrial keyboard with an integrated joystick, the TKS-105a-JST-MODUL.

This 105-key short travel keyboard and professional joystick, designed for detail intensive applications, is available in a panel mount version.
Until now, industrial keyboards have predominantly featured touchpads or trackballs and as integrated pointing devices. However, they tend to have a low accuracy rates when used in detailed applications, such as graphics.
The joystick overcomes this issue and provides the user with precise cursor control.
The TKS-105a-JST-MODUL has 105 keys including Windows 95 buttons. Long-life OMRON switches are used as the key mechanism. These foil covered keys meet IP65 environmental protection rating (resistant to dust and liquid), making them ideal for harsh industrial and medical applications.
The keyboard joystick combination is available currently in a front panel mount version with rearside threaded bolts (482.6 x 177.8 x 52mm BHD).
The joystick offers outstandingly possibilities for precise navigation and is an ergonomic 76mm in length. The left mouse button is integrated in the top of the joystick making even 'drag and drops’ possible.
The TKS-105a-JST-MODUL features an USB interface, is 'plug and play' ready, requires no computer restart or driver installation - the perfect solution for industrial, IT or commercial applications.
