Backplane Systems Technology is please to announced the ASB200-883-6COM, a compact fanless embedded system based on the IBASE IB883 3.5-inch disk-size embedded single board computer that supports 6x serial ports and 8x GPIOs.
The ASB200-883-6COM fanless computer system is configured with the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and the Intel 945GSE chipset. The system is housed in a steel, black coloured chassis that can be desk or wall mounted.
This sleek fanless computer system features 6x COM ports on the front panel as well as 8x programmable GPIO terminal block connectors, 2x USB 2.0 ports, LEDs for power and hard disk drive and audio jacks for line in and line out connections at the front.
The rear panel I/O ports include dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, another 2x USB ports, 1x VGA/COM, DVI port, PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector and 1x DC-in jack.
The dimensions of the ASB200-883-6COM fanless computer system are very slim-line at only 240mm(W) x 162mm(D) x 46mm(H). This embedded system also has 1x DDR2 SO-DIMM socket, 1x 2.5-inch HDD drive bay and a 60W power adaptor. It is suitable for low power and fanless platforms that require support of multiple serial ports for use in POS/Kiosk, digital signage, automation, transportation and medical applications.
